Safe House - Emergency alarm

Bezpečný dům

Lift Remote Emergency alarm system consists of WEBMON device, which is communication system of the lift, and WEBRMAN software application running on the server in the service centre. WEBMON device is continuously monitoring and performs assessment of lift status, and transmits the acquired data to the service centre. The service centre server processes the received information in WEBRMAN application and informs the operator on lift serious statuses, such as activated remote emergency alarm. WEBMON also allows two-way voice communication between the lift car and the service centre. The WEBMON voice and data transmissions use a GSM/GPRS network.

Remote emergency alarm

Emergency alarm is the status between alarm activation ("ALARM" button hit in the lift car by the confined person) and its end ("Alarm deactivation" button hit by the service operator on WEBMON unit). Hitting the "ALARM" button activates voice communication via GSM and simultaneously sending of remote emergency alarm information containing lift condition status, its position and telephone number via GPRS to WEBRMAN server in the service centre. The service centre operator acknowledges received emergency alarm from the working station and establishes two-way voice communication that lights the "ALARM RECEIVED" indication light in the lift car.

The lift remote emergency alarm system also enables the following:

  • Automatic check of remote emergency alarm device for function;
  • Date/time recording of alarm initiation, confirmation and action taken;
  • Prophylactic automatic checking of back-up power battery unit for condition;
  • Service technician's alarm, activated when he/she gets confined in the pit or in the shaft above the lift top station.

Lift monitoring

Another WEBMON function is monitoring of each lift condition and functionality. The data from all lifts under monitoring are gathered, evaluated and transmitted to the service centre in regular intervals. The service centre can make the data accessible via Internet for all who are authorised, such as house owners, tenants, etc.

Such a way of monitoring enables the following:

  • Keeping the lift operation data file;
  • Keeping the number of travels to particular stations (floors);
  • Remote reading of lift control system parameters, etc.;
  • Keeping of error messages history.
